Published terms

• Payment. The balance is paid to the carrier at delivery, in cash or by cashier's check.

• Deposit. A partial payment is charged by card once a carrier is dispatched. We couldn't find the amount on the website.

Anyone who wants one company responsible from pickup to delivery — as a broker, AmeriFreight hands the haul to a partner carrier.

Worth knowing

• The balance goes to the driver at delivery in cash or by cashier's check, not by card.
• If you turn down the assigned carrier more than twice, the terms let AmeriFreight keep the deposit.
